HOW ADRENAL FATIGUE HARMS YOUR FERTILITY: NATURAL SOLUTIONS

Adrenal fatigue seems to be a common "buzz word" nowadays and probably for good reason.  So many people are burning the candle at both ends, that they are stressing their adrenal glands.  The adrenal glands are part of the endocrine system and are responsible for a number of hormones such as cortisol, adrenaline and more.

So what does this have to do with infertility?  Everything!  For starters, adrenal fatigue can cause an imbalance between estrogen and progesterone.  Normally, there is a balance between these two hormones that help women ovulate and have a regular period.  They rise and fall in orchestration with
each other...sometimes one goes up while the other falls and so on.
When the adrenal glands are overworked, progesterone is moved from helping the body with ovulation and the menstrual cycle and diverted to produce cortisol.  This causes estrogen to dominate and then you have a condition called estrogen dominance.
I would have been a perfect case study for this condition when I was in my upper 30's.  I had a corporate pressure cooker job and I really had no idea how much stress I was under because it became commonplace in my day to day life.  I worked long hours, I gulped my lunch down while I was walking from meeting to meeting, and I internalized all of my workplace demands.  So what can one do to help your body's adrenal glands get back to normal?
