NATURAL CONCEPTION AFTER IVF, IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY!

Natural Pregnancy After Failed Fertility Treatments

It seems like everyone knows someone who went through the rigors of fertility treatments then got pregnant naturally. Many couples have one baby, but then get pregnant with their second baby by surprise. Frequently, couples who undergo fertility treatments are diagnosed with "unexplained fertility" which basically means that nobody really knows why they are not getting pregnant (or they just blame it on their age).  If you are familiar with my story, I went through two cycles of IVF, ending tragically in miscarriage and ectopic pregnancies (and the removal of one of my fallopian tubes).  Against all odds, I conceived my daughter the good old fashioned way and had her naturally at the age of 44.

This is why I focus so much on lifestyle changes. Sometimes, the smallest things can bring your body
back into sync and set the conditions right before your try to conceive. Additionally, preventing miscarriage occurs before you conceive as well. If your hormones are balanced, you will have the right amount of uterine lining, the right levels of estrogen and progesterone to support a pregnancy and so on.

Here is another article about couples conceiving naturally after IVF:

An even simpler explanation is that some women are rushing into assisted reproductive technology and that given more time, they might have gotten pregnant on their own. Much about infertility and its roots is still a mystery, and to have a baby, the complex processes of ovulation and fertilization need to go just so. Around one-third of infertility cases are traced to female problems, such as ovulation disorders and structural complications; one-third stem from male problems like deficiencies in sperm count and ability to swim; and one-third are due to both partners, or are unexplained.
