Black Beans For Fertility

So many people are afraid to eat beans. It's a shame, because there are ways to reduce the embarrassing side affects of eating these nutrition packed, fertility enhancing wonder foods.

There are products like "Beano" out there which can eliminate the digestive backlash that may come with eating beans (and no, they didn't pay me to say that). I use the liquid version and I take a little more than the recommended amount, but it works. I frequently make a big pot of bean soup (you can throw in absolutely any vegetable you have on hand - carrots, celery, onion, garlic, broccoli, potato, etc.) and if you want some ham to give it a little more taste, that's fine too. Start with dried beans (very inexpensive),soak the beans overnight, rinse, then throw them in the pot with the vegetables and cook for a few hours (soaking and rinsing the beans also helps to eliminate much of the gas). I freeze the soup in individual containers for a quick lunch.

I ate lots of beans when I was trying to conceive. They're good, filling, and healthy in almost every way. Read more about the nutitional power of black beans:
